This well-established Irish contractor delivers complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland through long-term public sector frameworks. With a growing pipeline of secured projects in Leinster, they are continuing to build out their senior delivery team. The company offers a structured environment, strong support from commercial and design teams, and clear progression towards senior leadership roles.

The Role – MEICA Project Manager

As MEICA Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation packages on water and wastewater projects.

You will lead multidisciplinary site teams and manage all aspects of project delivery including safety, programme, cost, quality and client engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions will directly impact project outcomes and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities
  • Plan and manage MEICA construction works to meet programme milestones
  • Coordinate site teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and specialist trades
  • Oversee quality control and ensure all works meet technical specifications
  • Monitor project progress, budgets and resource allocation
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation and performance
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders through regular meetings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and HSQE requirements
  • Prepare progress reports, forecasts and commercial updates
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering and site staff
About You
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
  • Experience as a Project Manager delivering water or wastewater projects
  • Strong MEICA background within utilities, infrastructure or treatment plants
  • Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation
  • Proven ability to manage teams and drive project performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contracts
  • Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland
