The Company
An Irish mechanical services contractor delivering HVAC, ventilation and mechanical installations across commercial construction projects throughout Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
Based in South West Dublin, Co Dublin, the business has a growing project pipeline and a practical approach to mechanical project delivery. They are now looking for a Mechanical Project & Estimating Coordinator to support both the estimating and project delivery sides of the business.
The Role: Mechanical Project & Estimating Coordinator
This Mechanical Project & Estimating Coordinator role is based in South West Dublin, Co Dublin and provides exposure across the full project lifecycle, from tender stage through procurement and live project delivery to final handover.
Approximately 60% of the role will focus on project coordination, with the remaining 40% supporting estimating and tendering. Working closely with the Estimating Manager, Project Managers and Contracts Director, you will help keep mechanical projects organised, commercially controlled and progressing to programme.
Must Have Requirements
You will have experience in construction estimating and ideally some exposure to mechanical services, HVAC, ventilation, procurement or project coordination.
You should be practical, organised and confident working with drawings, pricing, suppliers and project teams. Strong attention to detail is important, along with good numerical ability and the capacity to manage several tasks and deadlines at the same time.
This position would suit someone who wants to develop a long-term career within mechanical building services while gaining hands-on experience across both estimating and live project delivery.
What’s on Offer
Salary: €50,000 to €60,000 DOE

Must Have Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years’ construction estimating experience
- Strong numerical ability with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must be organised and capable of managing multiple tenders and live project requirements
- Experience reading construction drawings and mechanical specifications is required
- Must have authorisation to work in Ireland
- Previous experience within HVAC, ventilation or mechanical building services preferred
- Project coordination or procurement experience beneficial
- Experience working on commercial construction projects preferred
- AutoCAD experience beneficial
- Support project mobilisation following contract award
- Coordinate procurement of mechanical materials, equipment and specialist suppliers
- Monitor material lead times and delivery schedules
- Assist Project Managers with planning, labour coordination and day-to-day project requirements
- Maintain drawing registers, RFIs, technical submissions and O&M documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries and labour requirements
- Attend internal project meetings and issue actions and meeting notes
- Support project cost tracking, variations and progress reporting
- Assist with project completion and handover documentation
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications and tender enquiries
- Complete quantity take-offs and prepare material schedules
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyse supplier pricing and prepare cost comparisons
- Assist with tender documentation and competitive submissions
- Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate
