The Role: Junior Power BI Developer
This Junior Power BI Developer role is based in Dublin, Co Dublin and will support reporting and data analytics across major data centre construction projects.
You will work closely with project controls, finance, commercial, and operations teams to develop Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that support project performance, cost tracking, programme reporting, and operational decision making.
The role suits someone with strong Power BI capability who wants to develop further within a fast moving construction and engineering environment. You will gain exposure to live project data, reporting automation, and business intelligence systems used across major mission critical projects.
Must Have Requirements
You will come from a Power BI Developer, BI Analyst, or Data Analytics background with solid hands on experience building dashboards and managing reporting outputs in a professional setting.
You should be detail focused, organised, and comfortable working with large datasets across multiple sources. Experience working within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project delivery environments will be highly beneficial.
The role requires strong communication skills, as you will regularly work with both technical teams and operational stakeholders across live construction projects in Dublin and Europe.

- Must have 2 years’ experience in a Power BI Developer, BI Analyst, or Data Analyst role.
- Strong hands on Power BI experience in a professional environment is required.
- Proven experience required with DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling.
- Degree required in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre project experience preferred.
- SQL or other data querying experience beneficial.
- Experience integrating AI tools such as Copilot with Power BI semantic models advantageous.
- Exposure to ERP systems or project management software beneficial.
- Experience supporting reporting automation preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI governance and reporting standards.
- Experience working with large project datasets.
- Familiarity with commercial or project controls reporting environments.
- Understanding of live construction project workflows.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards supporting live data centre construction projects.
- Create clear visual reporting for project controls, commercial, finance, and operations teams.
- Model, transform, and cleanse project data using Power Query and DAX.
- Combine data from multiple systems including Excel, ERP platforms, project controls tools, and SQL databases.
- Support automation of manual and recurring reporting processes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver practical BI solutions.
- Maintain reporting documentation, datasets, and dashboard standards.
- Support data consistency, governance, and reporting accuracy across projects.
- Assist with improving business intelligence capability across the wider organisation.
