A leading international facilities management and technical services provider, operating across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join their team in Maynooth. With projects spanning sectors such as Food, Pharma, Data Centres, Logistics and Advanced Manufacturing, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key client-facing role with long-term security and progression.

The Opportunity


You will take ownership of day-to-day facilities management operations, ensuring the delivery of hard and soft services across a large client facility. Reporting directly to the COO, this is a pivotal role where you’ll manage in-house teams, coordinate external vendors, drive compliance and safety, and build strong client relationships. Responsibilities
  • Oversee hard & soft FM services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, security, landscaping, catering, waste, and pest control.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

  • Manage preventive and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Lead and supervise FM teams including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.

  • Coordinate and manage third-party contractors and service providers.

  • Act as the key client contact, attending regular meetings and presenting performance reports.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments and emergency drills as required.

  • Monitor and control budgets, reporting on KPIs, incidents, and maintenance performance.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and additional project works.

  Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in facilities or property management, with at least 5 years in a management role with an outsourced FM provider.

  • Strong technical knowledge of building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage both in-house and vendor teams.

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Preferred certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM), IOSH/NEBOSH, PMP or similar.

  • €80,000 basic salary (DOE).
