The Role: Estimator
Based in North Dublin, Co Dublin, this Estimator will work closely with the commercial, preconstruction and project delivery teams, preparing accurate and competitive tenders for off site manufacturing and fit out projects.
You will be involved from initial tender review through take offs, subcontractor and supplier enquiries, pricing, tender submissions and handover to the delivery team.

About You
You will have a construction estimating or commercial background with a practical understanding of how fit out or off site manufacturing projects are priced and delivered.
You should be comfortable working through drawings and specifications, dealing with suppliers and subcontractors and managing tender deadlines. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce commercially sound estimates are important for this Estimator position.

Must Have Requirements:
- Must have previous estimating or quantity surveying experience within construction, fit out or off site manufacturing
- Proven experience required in preparing tenders, take offs and cost estimates
- Strong understanding of subcontractor and supplier pricing is required
- Must have good commercial awareness and attention to detail
Preferred Experience:
- Fit out or specialist interiors experience preferred
- Off site manufacturing, modular construction or prefabrication experience beneficial
- Experience using estimating and construction software would be an advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Complete accurate quantity take offs
- Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities within tenders
- Liaise with design, commercial, procurement and project teams
- Assist with value engineering and alternative construction solutions
- Support tender handovers following successful project awards
- Maintain accurate estimating records and pricing information
About You
