The Company
This Dublin-based engineering consultancy delivers mechanical and electrical design services across technically complex projects in Ireland and Europe.
From their Ballymount office, the team works across data centres, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and power generation projects, with BIM forming a key part of the electrical design and coordination process.
The Role: Electrical BIM Engineer
As Electrical BIM Engineer, you will work alongside Electrical Engineers and the wider multidisciplinary design team to develop detailed electrical models and coordinated drawings using Revit.
You will model and coordinate power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communications and control systems, taking projects through detailed design and into construction.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a strong Revit background combined with a practical understanding of electrical services.
You should be comfortable reading electrical drawings and schematics, coordinating services within multidisciplinary models and working closely with Electrical Engineers to produce accurate construction information.

Must Have Requirements
- Previous experience in an Electrical BIM, Electrical Revit or similar position is required.
- Strong hands on Autodesk Revit experience required.
- Good understanding of electrical building services and distribution systems.
- Experience producing and coordinating electrical BIM models and drawings.
- Data centre, pharmaceutical, food and beverage or power generation experience preferred.
- AutoCAD experience beneficial.
- Experience developing BIM models to LOD 350 advantageous.
- Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit.
- Produce coordinated electrical drawings and project deliverables.
- Model electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security and control systems.
- Coordinate electrical services with mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines.
- Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues.
- Develop BIM models through detailed design up to LOD 350.
- Work in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans.
- Attend BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design meetings.
- Support Electrical Engineers throughout design development and project delivery.
You will have a strong Revit background combined with a practical understanding of electrical services.
