You are an EHS Advisor looking to work on a major data centre project in Sweden. This is a permanent role with a strong pipeline of work ahead, offering the chance to grow your career on one of Europe’s most exciting large-scale builds.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced, collaborative team where safety and quality are at the forefront. This role will give you the opportunity to take ownership of EHS on-site, ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards while fostering a strong culture of safety and compliance across the project.
As EHS Advisor, you’ll be the central point of contact for all Environment, Health & Safety matters on the project. You’ll work closely with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure best practice is followed and all statutory requirements are met.
This role is hands-on and site-based, with responsibility for audits, inspections, reporting, and incident investigations, as well as keeping EHS documentation fully compliant and up to date. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to step into a challenging but rewarding role on a high-profile international project.

EHS Advisor Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally across Electrical, Mechanical, or CSA projects.
- A relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent), plus Environmental Management certification.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 systems, with internal auditing experience.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, CDM roles, and working with subcontractors.
- Proven ability to lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
- Membership of IOSH (or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
As an EHS Advisor:
- Provide clear advice and guidance on all EHS matters to site management, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
- Carry out audits, inspections, and reports, recommending and following through on corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain project-specific EHS Plans, RAMS, and associated documents, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Ensure incidents are reported, fully investigated, and lessons are applied using root cause analysis.
- Support training needs on-site and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and refresher sessions as required.
- Keep track of KPIs, trends, and risks, and provide accurate reports to project stakeholders.
- Attend safety meetings, coordination meetings, and regional EHS sessions, representing the safety function confidently.
- Monitor PPE use, first aid arrangements, and site safety files, ensuring compliance with Swedish legislation and project standards.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €70,000 plus package.
