The Company
This established Irish main contractor has a strong reputation for delivering major commercial, residential and technically complex construction projects across Dublin and throughout Ireland.
With a strong pipeline of Dublin projects, they are looking for an experienced Design Manager to take responsibility for design coordination and technical information throughout project delivery.
The Role: Design Manager
Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, consultants and subcontractors, you will manage architectural, structural and M&E design information to ensure the project remains coordinated and on programme.
You will oversee technical submittals, information schedules, procurement tracking and design queries, resolving issues before they impact construction.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Design Manager with strong technical knowledge and a practical understanding of how design impacts construction, procurement and programme delivery.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10+ years’ construction industry experience with proven Design Manager experience.
- Strong commercial and/or residential project experience required.
- Relevant Engineering, Architectural or construction qualification.
- Strong technical and design coordination experience.
- Previous main contractor experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural, structural and M&E coordination beneficial.
- Manage and coordinate architectural, engineering and M&E design information.
- Maintain information schedules in line with the construction programme.
- Manage technical submittals and approvals.
- Track procurement against approved technical information.
- Coordinate utilities and building services requirements.
- Resolve design queries with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
