Building Services Engineer Skills:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CEng, IEng) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in building services engineering, with a strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy management.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems.

As a Building Services Engineer:  
  • Design, plan, and oversee the installation of building services systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and lighting.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of building systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to building services systems.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Manage building services projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage the building’s energy usage.
  • Implement energy-saving measures to improve building efficiency.
  • Ensure all building systems comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all building services activities.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €65000, plus package to include bonus, pension, health insurance & more.
