BIM Technician – M&E Projects You are an experienced BIM Technician with a strong background in M&E coordination and 3D modelling, looking to join a well-established engineering contractor delivering complex projects across pharmaceutical, data centre, healthcare and large commercial sectors in Ireland.
This is a Dublin-based role within a dedicated BIM function, working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to deliver high-quality BIM models, coordinated designs and accurate project information across both live and tender-stage projects.

BIM Technician – Skills & Experience: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in a BIM Technician role within M&E or construction environments
Strong experience using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD
Proven experience coordinating mechanical and electrical services
Ability to produce and manage detailed 3D models, drawings and asset data
Experience producing clash detection reports and resolving coordination issues
Strong IT skills including MS Office
Mechanical or Electrical trade background advantageous
Experience working with point cloud data beneficial
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
As a BIM Technician you will: Produce collaborative 3D BIM models and associated drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
Coordinate closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors
Input model elements with required graphical and data detail
Carry out clash detection and produce weekly clash reports
Coordinate and manage incoming and shared models
Produce drawings, images and BIM renders for project and client requirements
Coordinate mechanical and electrical elements and associated asset information
Produce as-built drawings and models
Develop Asset Information Models in line with project requirements
Support BIM delivery across both live projects and tender-stage works
Produce AutoCAD mechanical and electrical schematics
Ensure all work complies with company safety, quality and BIM standards
Health, Safety & Quality: Adhere to company safety statements, policies and quality management systems
Ensure BIM outputs meet required quality, accuracy and compliance standards
Support continuous improvement in BIM processes and coordination practices
The Package: A competitive salary of €50,000 – €70,000 DOE is on offer, along with a strong benefits package, long-term career progression, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a well-resourced BIM department.
