Site Manager / Quality Control - Residential Projects - South Dublin and Wicklow

€55,000 - €65,000 + package

Site Manager:

You are an experienced construction professional who has managed construction sites, has the ability to programme works, supervise trades and has experience with BCAR / Technical Submittals. You're current project may be due to finish up soon or you might be seeking a fresh change. In this role you will be working with a leading Irish Construction Sub Contractor who specialise in Bricklaying, working with Ireland's leading residential developers and Main Contractors on €multi-million apartment developments. 


Quality Site Manager Skills:

  • You have 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • You have experience within residential / mixed use construction for a Main Contractor / Sub Contractor
  • You have the ability to read and communicate key construction details
  • Familiar with BCAR/ Technical submittal process
  • You have the ability to programme and order materials
  • You have the ability to supervise trades on site
  • Familiar with GA 1, 2, 3s
  • Brickwork and Masonry support experience (beneficial)
  • You have hands-on experience identifying and addressing quality risks in procedures 
  • You have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint), and a general competence in using new technologies (Mobile Apps etc)
  • You must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills


As Quality Manager:

  • You will liaise with the Senior management teams, site and office personnel to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Carry out regular audits of sites and head office
  • Supervise trades on site
  • Order materials
  • BCAR and Technical Submittals
  • Work with colleagues in the company to develop and promote higher standards in the quality of company operations and completed works.
  • Prepare regular status reports for the Directors
  • Regularly inspect the works for compliance with specification, quality of workmanship, building standards, Building Regulations, and adherence to programme
  • Monitor subcontractors and direct employees on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate and filed and maintained in the standard company format
