Senior Cost Planner - Major Irish Developer - Dublin

€85,000 - €90,000 + bonus, pension, healthcare, gym

The Developer:

Ireland's leading Residential Developer, with High rise apartments and luxury developments across Dublin, presently have a need for a strong Senior Cost Planner - Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist in the provision of quantity surveying services under the direction of a Commercial Manager undertaking pre-contract duties. This role comes with huge potential for progression as the company are currently expanding and have 7 more sites to start this year.

Based in their modern Head Office in Dublin the role will involve projecting construction costs for upcoming and prospective projects, which are some of the largest and most exciting in Ireland. The role comes with flexible working conditions.

 

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Senior Cost Planner​ Skills:

  • 7+ years experience in a Cost planning role
  • Degree / Qualification in related field
  • Experience in PQS or Contractors office.
  • Experience in residential construction is preferential
  • Able to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
  • Good IT skills with competency at Buildsoft-Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
  • To be self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative

 

As Senior Cost Planner

  • Taking part in design team meetings through the design phases offering cost advice
  • A member of the cost planning team tasked with the preparation of cost plans.
  • Liaison with project delivery teams ensuring construction budgets for upcoming developments are robust.
  • Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
  • Ensure that the design team stay aware of the most efficient unit types, unit and project layouts and building materials when progressing a scheme design.
  • Liaising with the sales teams and liaising and engaging PQS consultant to prepare BOQ for the project budget. ensuring the PQS has the latest information.
  • Taking off Quantities to create Bills of Quantities for upcoming developments

 

What you'll get in return:

An excellent salary will be put in place for the successful candidate of €70,000 - €75,000, depending on experience, + pension, bonus, healthcare, gym membership and the opportunity to work with one of the most successful Developer's in Ireland.
