Quantity Surveyor - Long term residential project - Kildare

Ireland, Kildare

€65,000 - €75,000 + vehicle, bonus, pension, healthcare

The Developer:

A major Irish Residential Developer with projects across Leinster including high rise apartments up to €100m and luxury housing developments in Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. They currently have a need for a strong Quantity Surveyor located on a new, long term residential development in Kildare. 250+ units consisting of apartments, 4 bed houses and duplexes.

 

Quantity Surveyor Skills:

The Quantity Surveyor role would suit a delivery orientated, career driven individual with 5+ years post - graduate experience with a Developer or Main Contractor. Experience in Housing, RC Frame / apartments / commercial projects is desirable.

 

Quantity Surveyor Criteria:

  • 5+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Developer or Contractor.
  • Experience of residential building / commercial projects
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
  • Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants along with normal QS duties
  • To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
  • Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
  • Reporting on budgets and variations
  • Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details

 

The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €65,000 - €75,000 (negotiable) + vehicle + bonus + pension + healthcare.
