Health and Safety Regional Manager - Dublin - Main Contractor

€75,000 - €85,000 + package

The Main Contractor:

One of Ireland's most successful Tier 1 Main Contractor's with prestigious projects across Dublin and Kildare including a €multi-million data centre, a high rise apartment development and a prestigious hotel.

They currently have a permanent position for an experienced Health and Safety Regional Manager/ EHS Regional Manager/ Senior Health and Safety Manager to manage a number of high profile construction sites in the Dublin / Kildare area.


Health and Safety Regional Manager Skills:

The Health and Safety role would suit an experienced, self-reliant, delivery orientated individual with 10+ years commercial/ mixed use construction experience:

  • You will have a third level degree qualification in Health and Safety
  • You will have 10+ years health and safety experience with a minimum 5 years’ management experience in a similar role
  • You will have experience working on large commercial / mixed use developments
  • You have a strong and proven ability to influence change and be a champion of best practice
  • You must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You must possess a full clean driving licence


As Health and Safety Manager you will:

Report to and work closely with the Group Health and Safety Manager. You will be responsible for large construction sites, ensuring the implementation of safety statements, legislation and company policy across the sites.


Key responsibilities:

  • The Regional Safety Manager will provide support and assistance to the Group Health & Safety Manager
  • You will carry out site safety inspections and conduct accident and dangerous occurrence investigations, within your designated area of responsibility
  • Manage a number of Health and Safety Advisors
  • You will carry out Risk Assessments & complete Method Statements as required.
  • You will liaise with Site Managers to ensure Health and Safety documentation is up to date on site
  • You will ensure the accident and dangerous occurrence register is being maintained and tracked
  • You'll drive a safety culture by being a champion of best practice; conducting training for new and existing employees on the importance of health and safety on the job; and by suggesting improvements to existing methods of work.


The Package:

An attractive package of €75,000 - €85,000 will be put in place for the successful candidate including vehicle and pension, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work with one of the most exciting Main Contractors in Ireland.
