Health and Safety Manager - Macroom Bypass

€75,000 - €85,000 + Vehicle



A newly awarded road project in Co Cork. A €280 Million project, which will take 3.5 years to complete, commencing in Q1 2020.


Working alongside the design and build Main Contractor, who have tasked us with all recruitment for the project, we have an opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager, with a strong groundworks / civil’s background, to join them on a permanent basis, in Cork.


The initial project will consist of a 22km road upgrade, Type 2 dual carriageway, a number of both grade separated and at-grade interchanges and a large number of bridges.


The successful candidate will have a Level 8 or above Qualification in Health and Safety, with 10 - 15 years in a senior Health and Safety role, preferably with a medium to large civil engineering contractor, being familiar with safety statements, safety plans, and method statements, managing all Health and Safety officers on site.


Reporting to the group Health and Safety Manager, this is a great opportunity for a long term career across the Munster region.


Salary expectations:

The base salary for the position will be €75,000 - €85,000 + Package, (Vehicle + Fuel card), which will be fully negotiable depending on relevant experience.
